Sony A9 II review: Best pro camera ever… and Canon 1D X III killer?

Just how good is the Sony A9 II? I shot a load of world-class kickboxers, swimmers, divers and volleyball players and put this camera through every kind of pro torture test I possibly could.

Could this be the best professional camera on the market – and even a Canon EOS-1D X Mark III killer? Check out my full review below for full impressions, including all-important features not covered such as the transfer speeds and voice tagging!

  1. The A9 I has 60 hz autofocus calculation as well, I see a lot of people talking about the A9 II doing that, but the A9 I does as well 🙂 I'm very close to trading one of my A9's in for this, the one thing I haven't seen in any reviews yet is the advertised better ISO performance! I saw one photo at 20,000 that looked excellent, but I'm curious what high ISO over 8000 looks straight out of the camera! Thanks for doing this video 🙂

  2. you deserve 100 times the subs you have now ; what are your views on Olympus EM5iii ? or should one go with EM1ii for street & general use ? (along with 15mm f/1.7 leica lens, i don't hardly like any wideangle Oly lens, neither of the 17mm 1.8 or 1.2 Pro … and the ones i like are tele ones like 45/1.8 or 75/1.8 but their focal length isn't for my kind of work except for a few portraits)
