I have 140GB free and it is still giving me this message. I haven't been able to use photoshop in hours. I tried everything and nothing works smh! HELP!!!
Guess what took up all my space
Not roblox
Not photoshop
Not premiere pro
But the cheapest editing software IMOVIE
Mine was some kind of software glitch, had to use the adobe updater to fix it.

i give my tumb twice form my second account.. good job bro..
My trash doesn't look like yours and no option for recently deleted
You deserves not enough thanks….
your video is very useful…
This worked so quickly!! Thanks!
This tutorial should read " Basic ways on how to clear space on macbook pro" lol wtf
My photoshop won’t open at all because of the scratch disk being full. It won’t let me access the preferences to chance it, I’ve tried deleting things and everything and nothing works! Please help !!
You sir are a lifesaver. Photoshop wouldn't open, saw this video, and hey presto, all good again. Thank You
LIFE SAVER! Thank you!!
Thanks man great walkthrough.
Friend you saved me, I was delivering a job, and Photoshop gave message that could not send the photos saved in Lightroom for this disk full … thanks
In windows system. HOLD ALT+CTRL AFTER CLICKING PHOTOSHOP ICON TO OPEN SCRATCH DISK SETUP WHILE LAUNCHING IT.
That information must be in the error dialog when Photoshop fails to run due to scratch disk being full BUT ISN'T. Adobe must add that dialog on error window
nope, scratch disk is not the same as that space. you have delete the cache folder
My mac only has 121.12GB of storage in total, half of which is taken up by the system. I am able to get past my scratch disk being almost full by deleting caches and old documents I'm not using but I am still having this problem and there isn't anything else I can delete anymore. I could fix the problem this time using this tutorial (thanks!) but I'm certain the popup will come again tomorrow… My photoshop does need updating, though, could it be that it needs an update do you think? Thanks for all the help I didnt know how to see how big my applications were before it 🙂
