  6. Try parboiled rice most common brand is uncle Ben it precooked so in the process it took out most starch.
    There is a new typewriter of rice cooker that remove the starchy water so the rice cooked without starch. They have different countries Vietnam included does sell this cooker but I don’t think the manufacturer has sold in USA
    If I find more about manufacturers I will share so we may be able to order straight from the manufacturer.
    I also use more brown rice than white rice. And I mix brown rice with oatmeal to lower the cabs not as good as eating white rice but it keeps my blood sugar on the better side. I don’t eat much rice each meal may be 1/4 cup of cooked brown rice I have more vegetables or protein in my plate than rice. We just have to find way to get better not easy but we try I grow muop dang ( bitter melon ) I use the leaves to make tea or soup it’s bitter but is excellent drink that help
    To bring your blood sugar under better control . I’ve been diabetic for almost 20
    Years not getting cured but in better controlled and learned to make changes in diet , exercise to manage the illness. No
